Brake disc aligners
UMA (Universal Mounting Adapter)
The UMA forms the basis for the universal applicability of our brake disc aligners. Thanks to the adjustable and rotatable brackets, the adapter can be quickly and easily adjusted to the brake caliper mounting points of virtually any passenger car or van equipped with standard brake calipers.
Radial mounting adapter kit
MAD brake disc aligners are mounted to the brake caliper brackets on the wheel hub. Since the position of these mounting points can differ between vehicles be sure to check whether the vehicle is equipped with standard (axial) or radial brake caliper mounting.
For vehicles equipped with radially mounted brake calipers (certain high-performance models for example) we offer a radial adapter kit (SK-453). The adapters in this kit provide a stable connection to the brake caliper mounting points.
Silencer bands
The silencer bands reduce noise during machining and ensure improved machining results.
- Silencer band black
For brake disc diameters from 175 to 240 mm

For brake disc diameters from 240 mm
Ø 220 x 8 mm - Silencer band yellow
For brake disc diameters from 240 to 350 mm

Cutting inserts
The cutting inserts are mounted to the disc lathe and contact the brake disc during maching. Two variants are provided and available as replacement parts.
- Standard cutting inserts are more resistant against impacts, making them suitable for daily use in the workshop.
- Positive cutting inserts have a sharper edge which provide an even finer machining result.
Replacement cutting inserts are available in packs of 2 or 10.
