The position

As Accountmanager, together with your two colleagues, you will be active with vehicle converters, bodybuilders and motorhome specialists in Europe. The focus here is on light commercial vehicles, which require suspension adaptation due to their specific use. Increasing MAD's market share is your primary driver. With your know-how and experience as an account manager, you aim for long-term relationships and act as a business partner for our customers. You therefore know how to maintain the balance between identifying new opportunities and focusing on existing customers.

You have a winner's mentality, like challenging targets and are persistent. Based on a good inventory of needs, you know how to translate these into the right solution. With your enthusiasm, know-how and advisory approach, you know how to convince and win people over.

Your tasks include:

  • Preparing and managing your sales plan and budget.
  • Maintaining/developing our position with customers.
  • Acquiring new customers.
  • Issuing and managing quotations.
  • Managing relationships, contacts and quotations in the CRM system.
  • Attending and participating in relevant trade shows and events.

We require:

  • Higher vocational education working and thinking level.
  • Strong affinity with (automotive) technology and preferably some mechanic experience.
  • 5-10 years of work experience, including several years in a similar position.
  • You preferably have an up-to-date network.
  • You show initiative, can work independently, are committed and take responsibility.
  • Your style is characterised as accessible, advisory, goal-oriented, structured and decisive.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in French is an advantage.
  • You regularly visit customers and prospects abroad.
